Project Manager
Purpose of the Position
The 5Q Connect Project Manager is a critical resource within the 5Q Professional Services organization. This position is responsible for client-facing project management and coordination, often across multiple clients. This role requires management of competing priorities, excellent communication and client management skills, and the ability to coordinate both internal and external resources. This position is based out of Dallas, with a combination of time being spent in the 5Q Addison office as well as remote (work from home).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Meet with clients to define requirements, risks, and schedules, and define project scope, goals anddeliverables

Define tasks and required resources for each project

Collect and manage project team members, negotiation for resources within the broaderprofessional services organization

Manage budget – help create, track and communicate budget status as well as variances.

Create schedules and project timelines, track deliverables, allocation project resources
-
Support and direct team members – lead quality assurance and oversee team deliverables.

Monitor and report on project progress - present to stake holders reports on progress as well asproblems and solutions.

Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs

Evaluate and assess results of project

Communicate with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifyingthem of impending changes or agreed upon outages.

Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with the rest of the team.

Provide exceptional customer service, perception, and satisfaction.

Escalate project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels or timelines.

Develop in-depth knowledge of our service offerings and how they relate to client needs.

Responsible for entering time spent on a project as it occurs.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Three or more years project management experience in I.T.

Detail-oriented

Good communications skills, with customers, team and stakeholders

Knowledge of related software tools

Excellent written and oral communications skills, especially when dealing with clients.

Must be capable of handling multiple simultaneous tasks under pressure while maintaining strong customer service and a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work as a strong team member as well as independently

Flexibility to manage client calls depending on their time zone
Desired Professional Certifications

PMP certification

ITIL or ITSM certifications
